Dad Moves Rewind: 12/6/22 The Biscuit
This is an older Dad Moves from my time with The Fantasy Football Dudes
This week my youngest son Sam “The Biscuit” as he his nicknamed or “Biscuits” turned 2 years old. Sam was my family’s covid surprise. I was 41 when he was born. It was a bit of a shock when my wife and I found out we were expecting again. My oldest son was a teen and my twins had finally started becoming slightly, sort of, a bit easier- ish. I felt like Rocky Balboa in Rocky 6. I felt old to be starting back from the beginning again, but I knew I had one more fight left in me. When “The Biscuit” finally came along all the shock and stress of becoming a dad for the 4th time wore off. It was Dad time once again. What I didn’t realize this time was being in my 40s and already being through this a few times I was able to soak this one in more. I explained last week about how my oldest son who I met when he was 3 and I grew into father and son through time. My twins are the most beautiful experience of my life, but with two at once it felt like an overwhelming war zone ( we will get into the soon enough in Dad Moves). By the time Sam arrived I felt confident in what I was doing and realized more than ever how fast those early years go by. Happy Birthday my little biscuit!!
